The NCCAOM establishes, assesses, and promotes recognized standards of competence and safety in acupuncture and Oriental medicine for the protection and benefit of the public.

American Association of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (AAAOM)
The AAAOM represents and advocates on behalf of the professional Oriental medicine provider in order to ensure that the well being of the public is protected.
