Frank Gemmato has been practicing acupuncture since 1980. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tufts University, he went on to study at the New England School of Acupuncture under James Tin Yau So and Ted Kaptchuk, two of the pioneers of acupuncture in America. |
Licensed to practice in Oregon since 1983, Mr. Gemmato has been Staff Acupuncturist at The Portland Naturopathic Clinic and a core faculty member of the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. He is certified by the National Council for the Certification of Acupuncturists (NCCA).
Mr. Gemmato has developed new protocols that have proven successful in the promotion of healthy aging. This integrated approach utilizes a unique combination of acupuncture, herbs and nutrition. Programs for detoxification, inflammation control, intestinal repair, weight management and hormonal regulation help patients enhance the quality, as well as the length, of their lives.

A graduate from East West College , she has been doing massage since 2002.
Her massage focuses include deep tissue, craniosacral, and therapeutic foot treatment.
She has also furthered her studies in Thailand with traditional Thai massage.
She would love to help guide your body on its path to health and happiness. |

Alison has been a practicing massage therapist since 1998 and has had the opportunity to have worked on thousands of people. She incorporates the deeper structural works of Advanced Myofascial Release and Aston Patterning with the quieter and focused work of Bio-dynamic Cranial Sacral. The scope of Alison's massage background allows her to accommodate all people and their recovery from pain. |
Her love for massage comes from the joy of working with people to create change within a variety of levels. Alison and her work has been described as intuitive, thorough and caring. Other massage techniques Alison blends into her massage treatments are Deep Tissue work,Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), Reiki, and Polarity. |
Jen Kosinski

Jen became a massage therapist in 2002 after graduating from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy’s diploma program. In her studies, Jen became educated in Swedish, deep tissue and trigger point techniques. She has since continued her education, earning advances certificates in myofascial release and pregnancy massage. Jen also has an Associates degree in Liberal Arts. |
Jen has spent a bulk of her career working with chiropractors and acupuncturists. She has also spent time teaching the massage therapy program at Rasmussen College’s Aurora, IL campus. She firmly believes an all encompassing approach is most effective when dealing with injuries or chronic pain. She works diligently to provide long lasting pain relief through massage as well as education to empower her clients to take control of their pain.
Jen moved to Portland in 2011. After obtaining her Oregon massage license, Jen began working at Advanced Healing Inc. |

Beverly has worked with Mr. Gemmato in various capacities since 1992. She is in charge of all aspects of the office. From billing insurances to making appointments, and even assisting with patient care, Beverly is the key assistant in our clinic.
